Tetra Alarm Control
TAS-2110
TETRA-alarm control, data logger, and radio telecontrol
The TAS-2110 is available in three different versions:
TAS-2110/DA1 is equipped with 16 binary inputs, 8 binary outputs, and 4 analog inputs. The TAS-2110/DA3 misses the analog inputs, but features 16 binary outputs. The TAS-2110/DA2 is only equipped with 16 binary inputs and 8 binary outputs. All of the three versions are provided with 16 counter inputs, which can be configured either as event counters (maximum input frequency 10Hz) or as timer inputs with a one-second resolution.
The devices are solid and robust, built into an aluminum stand casting enclosure for DIN rail mounting. The power supply voltage range is 12-24 VDC (+/- 20%) and all screw terminals are removable for easy mounting. The inputs and outputs are electrically isolated from the power supply, which enables operations in rougher surroundings.
The alarm controlling unit has the ability to logically combine the inputs, send SDS- or Status- messages in dependence on binary conditions or the analog measured values. Point-to-point communications are also available between two TAS-devices for transferring binary values from one device to another. An integrated MMI-interface enables the remote operation from TETRA terminals. Simple SDS-Messages (optional Status) are sent to the devices, where binary or analog values can be polled and outputs can be set or reset.
The TAS-2110 is vested with three data logging units:
The protocol logger records incoming and outgoing SDS-Messages, online processing, as well as remote alarm signals of the devices. The SDS-logger traces time-controlled events and sends them out as one SDS-batch. The data logger records event-driven data on 16 different channels.
All devices are also available as TAS-4110 type, including the PicoLogoTM micro plc for covering simple control applications directly on the TAS device.
